I displayed him photos of what I wanted. It's been done many times before by others. He said he could do it, but I got something much different and I was not completely happy with it. I asked for 9 angled cornrows across the top which could be braided together in the back. I got 5 straight cornrows resulting in a tiny somewhat unattractive braid in the back. I brought my own kanekalon and paid $60 + $5 tip. He tried to fix the braid in the back by adding more kanekalon and there was some improvement. It's acceptable, but won't go back.
Take cash only!!! I got triple charged!!! Had to wait for someone to come reimburse me an additional 30 mins. Why Aisha couldn't do it is puzzling!!!
The braiders were so heavy handed even when parting! It felt like she was taking a knife through my scalp! The comb was filthy and they kept dropping the hair tools and hair on the floor and still used it! The shop is so filthy and smelly. My hair looked good but It hurts so bad I had to take them out. I will never go back.
