My first visit to the shop was a pleasant one. The place was impeccably clean, with furniture that felt bug-free. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. I brought my 2-year-old daughter along, and they were so sweet to us. They were patient with her and braided her hair gently. I will definitely return!
I was let down by my micro braids with human hair. I shared a photo of the style I desired. What I ended up with was totally different. The hair began falling out after one day. The back is shorter than the front and the style is sparse. The owners refused to guarantee their work. Avoid spending your money at this salon. I even had to wash my hair in the bathroom sink. This likely violates state regulations. The salon was not hygienic. They use the same comb on different clients without sanitizing it between uses.
I have frequented Flavor Hair Braiding on and off for the past 12 years. I am consistently satisfied with the service I receive. Both Meissa and Coumba have consistently demonstrated their care for clients. They are always attentive even when other braiders are busy and are quick to help out when needed. The establishment is consistently tidy.
