Venezia Nail Spa

Returned today after a long absence and had a wonderful experience! Both the nail technician and pedicurist were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful! The entire visit was delightful. They take great pride in their work and it truly shows!

Let me begin by saying that my pedicure was fantastic! The lady did a superb job, the massage was great, and my toes look fabulous! Now, onto my nails... I opted for dip powder, and while the nails themselves looked decent, not exceptional but I admit I am particular, the major issue was the excessive roughness of the nail technician. Initially, everything was fine! However, when it came to filing... ouch... she kept nicking my skin. I assumed it was due to my sensitivity, especially since my cuticles were being tidied up. The breaking point for me was during the filing process, where she inadvertently cut into the sides of my fingers with the file and persisted despite my complaints of pain on 4 separate fingers! As she was cleaning up with acetone and applying the final coat, I mentioned the burning sensation and the cuts from the filing, but she insisted it was because of the cuticle trimming! That wasn't the source of the burning sensation; it was the cuts on the sides of my fingers. Despite this, I still paid and left a tip, choosing not to voice my concerns in person, perhaps I should have, but I struggle with confrontation and had other commitments.

What a terrible experience! I visited this salon with my 2 siblings. We have a family gathering tomorrow. Initially, they cut my fingernails and toenails extremely short. I had simply requested for filing. Not only were they cut too short, but they were also uneven. Despite my repeated requests for a thin French tip, the technicians seemed clueless. After they finished, they didn't bother to clean up any imperfections. I had to ask them to rectify their mistakes. They also did a poor job with one of my siblings' nails. When she asked for it to be fixed, the technician rudely replied that they would do it correctly next time. The service was rude and terrible. When we raised our concerns with the receptionist, the owner happened to be present and all they offered was a simple apology. There was no attempt to compensate or provide a discount. They only offered to correct the issues, failing to understand that we had already requested corrections from the technicians who were unable to deliver. They showed little concern for the terrible service we received. I strongly advise against visiting this salon.
