The level of customer service at this establishment is abysmal. I recently departed feeling dissatisfied due to the clear sense of irritation and reluctance displayed by the staff to assist me. I visited to purchase Halloween decorations for my restaurant, a yearly tradition, only to be informed that I couldn't obtain a sufficiently large box to accommodate my needs. Taking matters into my own hands, I located a suitably sized box that could hold the majority of my purchases, despite it containing partially filled napkin boxes. Subsequently, I transferred the napkins to another box with ample space and proceeded to use the larger box to manage my purchases, as the staff showed little willingness to aid me. Upon finding a suitable box for my substantial purchases, the cashier summoned the manager to reprimand me for taking a box independently, citing its use for inventory purposes. The manager then explained that if I required boxes, I could utilize the smaller ones available upfront. However, these boxes were insufficiently sized, only accommodating 5 to 10 items, whereas I had over 150 items to purchase. While I acknowledge the presence of boxes for regular small purchases, as a customer spending $200, I believe I should have received better accommodation and not faced a dismissive attitude. Despite watching me distribute the items into 4-5 separate boxes due to the lack of an additional large box to consolidate my purchases into two large boxes for ease of transportation, the staff insisted I couldn't take the cart outside. Consequently, I had to shuttle each box from the store to my car individually. I respect the store's policy regarding boxes, but as a paying customer making a substantial purchase, I expected a more straightforward resolution without being met with annoyance and unnecessary obstacles.
The energy emitted by the employees tonight was extremely negative. Even the supervisor displayed a lackluster attitude. The cashier was absent from the register for an extended period, failing to greet customers, offer apologies for the delay, or engage in any interaction. Instead of handing me the receipt, it was carelessly placed on my items before the cashier walked away. This incident occurred on 2/23/24 around 7:15 pm.
One-stop spot for purchasing Party Decor, daily household items, etc. at a price of $1.25 + Tax in the vicinity. The quality of the items is commendable for the price paid, although it varies based on the specific product.
