I never leave reviews, but I felt the need to share my recent experience to prevent others from encountering a similar situation. Approximately half a year ago, I visited this establishment to have my hair styled by a former high school acquaintance who was a student there. The results were fantastic, and the cost was reasonable. Encouraged by this, I returned to have my natural root color adjusted. However, this time I was attended to by a different student as the previous one had graduated. Unfortunately, my hair was severely damaged during this visit. Despite not voicing my dissatisfaction, it was evident from the tears streaming down the hairdresser's face by the end of the session. She had inadvertently turned my bleached blonde hair almost black. I hold no ill will towards the hairdresser; each hair type reacts differently, and she is still learning. However, what surprised me was the instructors' approval throughout the process. They reassured her that the outcome was satisfactory until the very end when she broke down in tears and confided in them. They dismissed her concerns, claiming the color would fade in a few days. Yet, even after two weeks, there was no change. They offered to rectify the situation at no extra cost (which should have been the case from the start), and despite leaving a tip out of sympathy, the situation worsened. On both occasions, they insisted that my hair looked fabulous and that I had received top-notch coloring. I urge you to examine the images depicting my hair pre-treatment, my requested style, and the final result. I leave the judgment to you. I harbor no resentment towards anyone involved; the instructors and students are genuinely kind individuals. I acknowledge that this is a learning environment, but being charged over $100 for this mishap was unreasonable. While mistakes are expected from students, I believe the instructors should possess the necessary expertise and provide full support during the correction process. However, when I called, they seemed to have forgotten about my situation, assigned me a new student and instructor who were unaware of the issue, and the original instructor never approached me to follow up or brief the new student. I had to explain everything from scratch! If you desire bleached blonde hair, then this place might suit your needs.

The experience at Ralph's Beauty Academy is extraordinary! I feel incredibly fortunate to be a part of such an exceptional institution. The proprietor, Sam, and the supervisor, Alex, are outstanding individuals. Having a business led by talented, knowledgeable, kind, and empathetic individuals ensures everyone's contentment! The atmosphere is harmonious, supportive, and filled with learning, laughter, and enjoyment!
