The facials and the cleansing ritual are both delightful experiences. Haircuts and color by the 3 stylists I've encountered are quite impressive. I would like to mention that the keratin treatments lack consistency, and after the keratin application, the steps of flat ironing twice were neglected. I was instructed to do the second flat ironing on my own at home. Kris always seems to be lacking "time" to properly blow dry or flat iron my hair.
I underwent a lash service with Lauryn at this establishment on 6/30/21. I requested a full volume set and was assured of results that would meet both our expectations! My previous lash history was considered as I had previous extensions, and Lauryn assured me it would not be an issue. What I received was subpar at best, with only a few scattered lashes applied. It was never disclosed to me that there was a strict "no refund" policy in place. Upon inquiring about my options, I was informed that I had damaged my natural lashes (which is untrue) and there was nothing that could be done. I was also told that I did not provide enough to work with, accompanied by text messages reiterating the "no refund" policy. The staff here severely lacks basic salon skills and professionalism. If Lauryn had been honest upfront about me not being a suitable candidate for a volume set, instead of attempting a service she clearly lacked the expertise for, I would have completely understood and taken my business elsewhere. Instead, she deceived me and proceeded with the service. This was the worst service I have ever received! I do not recommend any services at this salon, particularly lash services, unless you wish to look completely unsatisfied. Save yourself the disappointment, humiliation, and money, and patronize a salon that genuinely values your requests and the quality of their work. William Mason prioritizes money over your appearance!
I had a valuable lesson today... always pay attention to the details! I purchased a hair product last week and upon checking Amazon since I live quite a distance away, I found it $18 cheaper. Upon returning to the store and standing in line, I noticed a small sign stating No Refunds. My mistake. Just sharing this for those who use Aveda products.
