Today marked the day I got my initial tattoo. I felt scared, anxious, my nerves were on edge. I'm grateful that Eve soothed my worries and guided me through it all. Eve was professional, knowledgeable, kind, and engaging to talk to. I'm thrilled she inked my first tattoo.
I want to start by saying the proprietor appears to be a truly pleasant individual and a skilled artist. He was the reason I was interested in coming here. However, my interaction with another artist there was not particularly positive. This was my inaugural tattoo, and the artist I was paired with seemed somewhat impolite and patronizing, particularly when I raised my concerns about line width and overall size of the tattoo. I suspect, based on similar reviews citing rudeness from an artist, she is the one they are alluding to. Although I was content with the final design she planned for me, I proceeded with the process. Throughout, she appeared hurried. In the end, she quickly went over all the aftercare instructions, charged me 200 dollars, and sent me on my way. Upon unwrapping the tattoo at home, I was shocked to find that the line work was shaky and in certain areas blatantly crooked, and most notably, there was an additional line that wasn't intended to be there, seemingly an attempt to conceal a mistake she made (highlighted in the picture). I had hoped the uneven lines were due to my skin swelling, but so far, that doesn't appear to be the case. This tattoo is in a highly visible area of my body, and I'm beginning to contemplate the possibility of finding a way to rectify it and cover up the errors down the road.
