My pal & I had our nails done today. We had an appointment for 12:30; I was seated promptly, but my friend was left alone for about 30 minutes to remove the dip. After shaping my nails, I was moved to the pedicure area assuming someone would do the nail design. While my friend finally got seated, she overheard comments about her dip not being removed, with no one checking on her. After my pedicure, I sat with incomplete nails next to my friend for 15-20 minutes, then moved back to the same lady who did the shaping just for the design. Additionally, she refused to cut my nails shorter as requested and made them thick. My friend and I had to switch nail salons and spend more to fix them. It's disappointing to have to find a new nail salon after months of coming here. This place is on a downward spiral.
I previously endorsed this spot, as I've never had a poor encounter. On my visit in February, my nails weren't done well, but they were fixed for free, for which I was grateful. After removing my nails, I noticed a deep imprint from the initial nail tech drilling down many layers. This has never happened to me before! Months later, my nails are still brittle and breaking no matter what I do. I now have a painful low break on my left thumbnail. I'm greatly let down by my experience, especially since I used to praise getting my nails done here :(
Thanh did my nails. I absolutely ADORE them! He hardly touched my skin with any tools. I give 4 stars because it was a bit uncomfortable with everyone conversing in a different language. This was only my 2nd time in a nail salon, so I'm uncertain if it's common. I might upgrade this review to 5 stars after my 3rd nail salon visit. In terms of nail work, he is truly exceptional. Thank you!
