My spouse and I receive massages monthly and our usual spot closed. I phoned and booked sessions for massages, lasting 90 minutes. Confirmed cost of $110 each. Excellent! Upon arrival for the appointment with my spouse, a credit card fee of $10 was suddenly added to the total. It's acceptable if the fee is disclosed or mentioned on the phone. Very questionable when it's only brought up when they're processing your card. I was consistently informed I could pay with cash or I had to pay the fee. Because of our Hollywood location, I never carry cash. It's just not secure. We skipped our appointments and walked into another massage place nearby that charged the same as advertised! That will be our new monthly massage spot. Could you imagine if the florist, grocery store, or nail salon charged you the bank card percentage fee every time? No! Because it's included in the quoted price. The expense of doing business is accepting cards and being transparent about service costs.
I've been getting massages here for some time now. Angela is possibly the finest massage therapist I've come across, and Sophia is a close second. As a runner, they can effectively target all my sore spots, pains, and knots. I come in after races, and it significantly accelerates my recovery time. Highly recommended!
Visited this place for the first time today and had an exceptional massage! The ladies were very kind and gentle as I requested light pressure for the massage. It was so calming during my 1-hour session that I nearly drifted off to sleep multiple times. In fact, I did nod off for a moment and startled the masseuse by kicking my leg up, causing a brief scare. Highly recommend the reasonable price of $70 for a 60-minute massage. They also speak English, which aids in better communication. At the conclusion, they offer a bottle of water, a nice gesture. Wonderful place! 10/10.
