Initially, I was pleased with how my nails looked post-service. Unfortunately, the very next day, one of my acrylic nails broke, causing damage to my natural nail bed. This unexpected outcome made me regret spending $100 on a service that lasted only a day. What a fantastic experience I had here! I've tried laser hair removal before with mixed results, so I was a bit hesitant to try it again. But after reading the great reviews, I decided to give Allure a chance. And I am thrilled with the results after just one treatment! I can't wait for my 4th session tomorrow. This was hands down the worst manicure experience I've ever had. The receptionist was pleasant, but the older technician who worked on my nails was unfriendly, unprofessional, and rough with my nails. I had come in for an acrylic soak-off and a manicure, but right from the start, she cut my acrylics unevenly and used a metal tool aggressively on my nails. She then left abruptly without explanation, only to return minutes later with a nail cart. During the soak-off process, she even used the same cuticle clipper on herself and then on me, which I found unsanitary. She was rough while removing the acrylic, causing discomfort, and continued to be harsh throughout the process. Despite my complaints of pain, she never apologized and even cut my nails too deep at one point. The manicure was no better, with cold water and no soap provided, and my cuticles and nails were handled poorly. She cut my skin and applied the polish hastily. It was a rushed and unpleasant experience overall. First time client on 7/05/2024 had my hair styled and dyed for my wedding on 07/06/2024 after 6 years. Main concern was gray sides, unfortunately not fully covered. When pointed out, no effort to rectify, just a mention of foiling close to the scalp. For $350.00, it should be flawless; I'm disappointed.
