Highly recommend this dermatology office! Dr. Julia is extremely knowledgeable. Convenient parking and the office is consistently clean and well-managed.
Bulldozed. *My experience was with Dr. Buatti, but I know someone that has seen both PA-C's and had wonderful experiences* My initial appointment at this clinic was set for 4pm. I was eventually called back an hour later (understandable, though I was quite patient). The medical assistant was friendly, but interrupted me when I was answering her question, as if I was talking too much. I came in for a specific concern regarding my face, and after discussing that with the assistant, she asked (rhetorically) "anything else?". I mentioned a couple of other concerns on my face and a couple of worrisome moles, only to be told that we could only discuss 2 topics. While I could comprehend this to prevent appointments from running long, given that I had already waited an hour to be seen, it seemed that time management was not a priority.. until.. Dr. Buatti came in and left in NO MORE than 60 SECONDS. He informed me of the 3 prescriptions he was going to prescribe with NO explanation of why or what they were for. NO treatment plan. The ONLY question he asked was about the product I used, and when I responded, there was no feedback.. no "good choice" no "perhaps try this instead".. just tapped away on his tablet. I left after less than a minute and had to pay $60 with absolutely no more information or plan than when I arrived. He pushed the prescriptions on me without discussing any options that could work best for me. ZERO consideration for understanding MY concerns and treating me as an individual, or even as a person for that matter. I was merely a means for a co-pay and insurance payout.
My usual dermatologist doesn’t see children under 8. So I brought my 4-year-old here. The clinic is very modern and pleasant. And impeccably clean! We were taken in on time. Didn’t have to wait long in the room. Julia Zimmerman attended to us, and she was very kind and attentive. She didn’t seem in a rush to move on to the next patient, and she listened to my questions and concerns. It was a positive visit. I'm considering switching to this dermatology office for myself!
