What a delightful time! We were a group of 6 friends celebrating a birthday, and they easily accommodated all of us simultaneously. They even provided us with water, a special drink to celebrate, and homemade spring rolls. Our nails turned out fantastic, and we were in and out within an hour. I highly recommend this place!
I'm feeling quite disappointed writing this review. I had previously visited Pinky's in Mayslanding and had a good experience. I was recommended to try the one on West Jersey Ave, so I did. The receptionist was great, and Tara who booked my appointment was excellent. However, once I sat down, I waited for ten minutes (even though I had an appointment) and then the experience went downhill. The entire time, the nail technician was chatting non-stop with another colleague who was just hanging around, watching her work. I'm not exaggerating when I say she didn't speak to me at all, except when I asked where to rinse my nails. After enduring 50 minutes of listening to their conversation around me, I was informed that my session was over. I must admit, I felt foolish for being relieved that it was done, as my husband had been waiting the whole time and I just wanted to leave. I usually tip generously, so despite the frustrating experience, I still left a $15 tip! As I drove home, I noticed that it didn't even look like she had filled in one nail. She had just trimmed them and applied a clear coat. I regret not speaking up, as I usually have no issue voicing my thoughts. I'm giving this place three stars, mainly for Tara and the receptionist. I won't mention the name of my nail technician, but it's disheartening to be neglected as a customer, left sitting while they chat amongst themselves, and then to have my nails end up shorter than when I arrived. I hope others have a better experience!
Today marked my first visit to Pinky's Deluxe Lounge EHT for any kind of service. I decided to treat myself to a manicure for my birthday. As soon as I walked in, I was transported into a luxurious atmosphere adorned with stunning decor that kept my eyes captivated throughout the salon. The young lady who did my nails did an outstanding job with my manicure. I will definitely recommend this place to others looking to indulge in pampering from head to toe while enjoying the beautiful decor and welcoming ambiance.
