Today's visit to the salon left me feeling let down. Despite my clear request for a deep conditioning treatment to combat my dry scalp in the winter, I received minimal consultation and only a basic hair wash. The 10-minute mask was barely applied to my scalp. The unexpected $55 charge, compared to the advertised $25 rate, was a surprise. I did not ask for styling, and my hair length is average. It would have been helpful to know if my hair was considered 'long' with additional charges. I would have happily paid more for a true deep conditioning treatment.
