I was super stoked to finally get a tattoo I've been wanting. I feel like that clouded my judgment. I didn't receive a preliminary sketch to approve before starting. The artist used a stencil and did the coloring without a guide. The final result wasn't exactly what I had in mind. The studio door remained open throughout the session. Instead of engaging with me, the artist chatted with the next client in the waiting area. Some areas of the tattoo were inked too deeply, leading to extended healing times as they essentially became holes in my skin. The cleanliness of the studio left much to be desired, and there was no indication that sterilized tools were being used. While I'm happy with my tattoo, I would recommend avoiding this studio.
