My experience at Total Nails on New Year's Eve was pleasant. Hala did a great job on my feet and nails, and I was very satisfied with the service. I highly recommend this salon as everyone was friendly and welcoming.
0/10 review. I spent 2 hours and 15 minutes getting a basic acrylic full set done. The nail technician kept pushing me to get gel nails, which I eventually agreed to just to speed up the process. Unfortunately, my nails turned out thick and uneven. I requested a French tip to improve the look, but that took even longer to complete. When I expressed that the nails were too thick, the technician insisted that thick nails are less likely to break, which I found unnecessary. I have never had issues with acrylics breaking before. I strongly advise against going to this salon. Additionally, I had to use the bathroom before my nails were polished so I could file them straight since they were crooked. Thank goodness I had my own nail file!
AVOID BRINGING YOUR CHILDREN HERE. My spouse scheduled appointments for four manicures and pedicures for our kids on a busy Saturday. As newcomers to the area, our children were excited for a spa day. However, upon arrival, the salon was already swamped and had no available staff for our appointments. The manager seemed more focused on offering just nail polish, likely for a quicker service. Despite my youngest daughter's request for watermelon nails, the result was a sloppy and overpriced design on two toes (see attached photo). Furthermore, my other daughter's nails were smudged, and instead of redoing them properly, the technician simply painted over the smudges. I am deeply disappointed with the quality of service provided. Our children patiently waited as others were served before them, yet their experience was subpar. I paid for pedicures and polish, expecting a better outcome. I will acknowledge the kind and patient gentleman who did my no-chip nails and the lady who performed my husband's pedicure by adding one star. However, overall, our visit was extremely unsatisfactory, and we will not be returning. A business that fails to prioritize customers based on age does not deserve our patronage.
