My initial nail technician wasn't available so I decided to try classic nails the day before Mother's Day and let me just say that was the most regrettable choice I've made so far. The acrylic was poorly applied, the nails are excessively thick and wide, some are uneven, and the acrylic doesn't cover the entire nail. I wouldn't recommend it. The ambiance is nice though!
I find it hard to believe there could be a single negative review of this place. Tik is EXCEPTIONAL. She did exactly what I asked for! She's easy to converse with and she even offers beer and wine (yes, she has a liquor license) while you get your nails done! Her prices are comparable or even better than other salons. This is definitely my new favorite spot.
Absolutely terrible experience. The staff is friendly but on Thursday, March 23rd, I visited when it wasn't busy at all. The owner and Katie were the only ones working, with just two other customers present. Despite this, after 4 hours, only two of my nails were done. The nails are vastly different in size, the acrylic work is messy, she removed all the skin under my nail, her own eyelash fell into my gel, and when I requested a design, it was rushed and poorly executed. The paint doesn't cover the acrylic color, and my right hand is significantly longer and wider than my left. Definitely not worth the $90. I had been there before and it was lumpy and misshapen as well. She even scraped the nail while it was drying, leaving a visible line where the polish should be. I gave it another chance, but never again. Extremely poor service.
