Took my mom there without an appointment. They said they could trim and polish her nails quickly. My mom had a broken arm/shoulder and was in a sling. The lady trimmed and filed her nails but refused to apply polish, claiming it was too difficult. When asked about the charge, she initially said $10, but then charged $15, refusing to accept my mom's credit card for the lower amount. I will never return to that salon.
I researched them and found they did nails just the way I like. Waited outside to see if they were open, watching another lady go in before me to confirm. When my boyfriend and I entered, the lady asked, "Can I help you?" I inquired about pedicures and a simple hand set, but she said she didn't have time for me, despite other ladies receiving service. 0/10 experience. Being new to Peoria, I tried "BEST NAILS" across the street and received excellent service. I love my nails now ❤️
I've had two lovely experiences at this salon. The first time, I walked in and received a mani/pedi that I loved. The gel polish lasted without chipping until my nails grew too long. My second appointment with Tonya was fantastic. Being 9 months pregnant and due any time, I felt completely pampered. Despite running late due to a doctor's appointment, Tonya called to check on me and was understanding and sweet when I arrived. I plan to return later this Summer for a "2-hour vacation of pampering," as she called it.
