Avoid this place for haircuts. I had long hair down to my shoulders and they cut my bangs too short and removed half of my hair. I ended up looking like a character from Mario, they even charged me $35 for shampooing and washing, a service that my usual salon provides for free. The haircut itself cost me $45. I had to go to Supercuts to get my hair cut extremely short to fix the mess, I was practically bald after that experience.
Mimi, is extremely friendly and a fantastic individual you will be content with your haircut whether you are male or female. The cost is not high. Give her a chance and you will be pleased; she is highly skilled in the hair cutting business and very reasonably priced compared to other establishments.
I have been a loyal customer of SBS since it first opened. The staff is always welcoming. Lucy consistently cuts my naturally curly hair; MiMi also does a fantastic job (she's very patient with my father who has Alzheimer's). My husband and son also frequent this place for haircuts, shaves, and eyebrow waxing and they love it. Nancy and Kim give me amazing pedicures with cute designs. All the ladies there are wonderful, and the salon is exceptionally clean. I don't understand the negative reviews, as I have never encountered any issues with the staff. Whenever I request a special design, they are always accommodating and create cute designs on my big toes. It may not be the most upscale salon, but they are kind, friendly, clean, and very reasonably priced.
