I have frequented this spot for nearly 5 years now and consistently had delightful and soothing visits. Today was no different, but I also received a stunning design - a first for me! I departed with exquisite nails and pampered feet, and I will certainly return.
I have been a patron of this parlor since 2018. The establishment is impeccably maintained and very hygienic. Typically, I opt for plain nails without any embellishments, and I've only had to return a few times for nail "fixes." However, yesterday, I opted for SNS on my nails and a gel pedicure. Regrettably, I had to return the very next day to have both redone. My nails were slightly uneven and the color was lackluster, but the original technician had no issue smoothing them out. Yet, my toes were a different story. The nail artist who tended to my toes completely botched the job. The nails were unevenly shaped, and she painted over my cuticle line without cleaning up around my toes. They looked dreadful. Upon returning home, the polish began to lift off my toes. When I requested a repair today, the technician insinuated that the color was unsuitable for me (I had initially chosen a forest green shade). She also questioned what I did to cause the polish to lift. I informed her that this had never occurred before. Ultimately, we decided to remove the polish and use white instead due to my mounting frustration. While removing the polish, she inadvertently cut the inside of my left toe with a cuticle cutter! The pain was excruciating! I vocalized my discomfort, and she merely apologized with a smile. My toe began to bleed, and she attempted to apply pressure. Several other technicians witnessed the incident. Accidental cuts can happen, but this was simply unacceptable. As paying customers, we should not be criticized for requesting a correction if a service was not executed correctly. I am concerned that my nail may become infected due to this incident. I fail to comprehend why one would be upset for having to rectify a flawed pedicure. I am deeply disappointed as I did enjoy this salon previously. However, the lack of concern displayed by the staff is disheartening. I will not be returning.
I was attended to by a technician named Rose, who exhibited rudeness and a significant attitude. Despite my repeated requests to maintain the length of my nails, she proceeded to cut them shorter. Additionally, there was a hair embedded in my nails, as evident in the photo. I had requested blue nails, but she painted them poorly in a clear shade. Despite the shop being staffed by five individuals that day, I was still required to pay after such a dreadful experience.
