I scheduled my appointment for 9 AM, but Adele didn't arrive until 10:15 AM, citing "traffic" as the reason for her delay. With my short, soft, curly hair, I was hesitant about knotless braids, so I opted for box braids. Despite confirming that they could work with my hair type, the process took a whopping five hours! Upon completion, Adele only applied oil sheen without any foam, which left me dissatisfied. To make matters worse, my braids started unraveling within a week. Due to the salon's distance and my upcoming business trip, I couldn't return for a fix. Adele charged me $200, originally $220, with a $20 deduction for her tardiness. Despite requesting medium braids, my hair ended up with a mix of medium and small sizes. I wouldn't recommend this salon and feel hesitant about returning for a correction.
Adele consistently shows up late, arriving at 9:30 AM or later for appointments scheduled for 9 AM. Her repeated excuses for tardiness are frustrating. It would be more considerate to book appointments for times when she is actually prepared to start working in her salon.
