VIP Nails and Spa

The salon is open until 7 pm, which is why I decided to drop by. The prices are average, ranging from $40 to $60 for a luxurious pedicure treatment and $25 for the basic one. The ambiance of the place didn't impress me much. It was child-friendly, as one of their kids was present. The staff was friendly and efficient. I witnessed them fixing a customer's nail that had been messed up, which I found commendable. I'm still exploring different places for pedicures, but since this salon is conveniently located for me, I will likely return.

During our stay in the city, we decided to get pedicures. If we were locals, we wouldn't return! The pedicures were decent, but the individual performing them lacked in service. A warm welcome was missing, and all we received were grunts throughout the session (the same person attended to both of us). Instead of assisting me in putting my socks back on (as is customary - I'm a senior with limited mobility), our attendant disappeared into the back room until it was time to settle the bill. There are plenty of other better options around!

Being unfamiliar with the area, I opted to have my nails done here while visiting relatives. Let me tell you, my nails look awful! I could have done a better job myself at home. Moreover, I overheard the owner making some very unpleasant remarks while working on someone else's nails. While he did greet every incoming customer, his interactions were curt and came across as impolite. After my nail appointment, I understood why the place was so quiet on a Saturday. The owner has a reputation for disputes with clients. My nails are uneven, bumpy, and already lifting.
