The north United States dollar tree, it was the worst experience, the manager Taylor shouldn’t be a manager, they’re mean disrespectful and a liar. I went in on Sunday 3/10/24 at about 1:40-2:00 I bought a double pack of scotch tape and a fire starter light, both things came to $6.06 I handed them a $20.00 bill and a dime. I took my stuff and went out to the car to discover that they gave me change back for a $10 bill that’s not right I brought it to their attention and they told me that I was accusing them of stealing my money which I clearly was not they got mad and they said so you’re calling me a liar you’re calling me a thief I said no I said I said you accidentally made a mistake and gave me back change for $10 bill when I clearly gave them a 20 then they said well the only way to find this out is if I count my drawer so I told them to go ahead and count their draw which they did but they were having a hard time concentrating on counting their drawer because there were some people in line behind me so they told me that they had to recount it and told me to go stand over to the side so I went over and I stood over to the side and after the customers cleared out they proceeded to recount the drawer again they claim it was still right on which was not because the $20 bill is all I had in my pocket so I know for a fact that I gave them a 20 they looked at me and they said why are you accusing me of stealing your money I don’t want your money I have my own money you darn crack head! They’re lucky I had a birthday party to go to I’ll tell you that right now because I was so mad for manager to call a customer a crackhead that’s not cool very unprofessional and now I know a lot of people that will never go into that store again this managers name is Taylor in case I haven’t so that in the beginning thank you
The team is fantastic! Helpful, friendly and kind. The store is consistent with keeping items generally in the same place which makes it easier to make quick purchases even though its bigger than the convenience store. The prices are definitely not in line with the name of the store, finding anything for a dollar there is a rarity and easy to spend a fortune.
