Today, my parent visited this place and found no hot water available. The spa session lacked the usual hot towel massage, and my mom had to rinse off in cold water. To make matters worse, a male maintenance worker entered the women's section to fix the boiler while my mom was changing. The only person to offer an apology was the masseuse. My mom was visibly upset, and none of the staff took responsibility or apologized for the intrusion. This incident completely shattered her anticipation for the day.
The website advertised a $15 entry fee, but upon arrival, they charged $30 plus an additional 10% credit card fee, which is against the law. Upon entering the locker room, the overpowering smell of mildew forced me to leave immediately. I requested a refund, but the staff member at the counter was clueless about the refund process and attempted to reimburse only $30 instead of the $33 initially charged. It's astonishing how this establishment continues to operate.
Great wellness retreat. Many friendly and sociable individuals. It would enhance the experience if they installed a hot tub. Perhaps converting the relaxation room into a hot tub area or placing one in the center of the shower space. Adding a standalone hot tub should be a feasible option. Extending the operating hours, particularly on Fridays and Saturdays, till at least 11 PM, could attract more visitors.
