Ben and Amy Amy did my nails for the first time, and it was a fantastic job. I adored everything about them. The shape was flawless and they looked so elegant. Rating: 10/10
I wish I could be kind, but I just can't. They billed me $100 for this... Initially, they hurried through the pedicure and manicure. (The pedicure did turn out well, by the way. I should note that. My concern lies with the manicure and the service.) After selecting my color, she kept pushing the gel. I only wanted it on my toes, but she kept insisting I should also have it on the manicure. I said I would consider it. Then, during the manicure, she informed me that the nail polish only came in gel. So I wasn't given a choice and suddenly found myself being charged $20 more for something I didn't even want. She also cut one of my cuticles. She filed my nails so much that they are now paper-thin. After completing the manicure and painting everything, she proceeded to file them even more to remove some jagged edges (which did not come off, by the way). I believe all it did was weaken the gel at the ends. During checkout, I wasn't given the option of not leaving a tip. It was either 15, 20, or 25 dollars. $85 plus the tip cost me exactly $100. The very next day, in less than 24 hours, my entire index finger's nail peeled off. I was out of town but had planned to return the next day to have it fixed because it shouldn't have come off after just 3 days. However, while I was away, three of my other fingers started cracking and one of my actual nails ripped off because they had been filed so thin. I had to trim down my nails on four fingers that were paper-thin and the nail polish cracked off, so I wouldn't tear them since they were so fragile. My natural nails are ruined, and only about $40 (for the pedicure) out of the $100 was worth it. I am furious that my manicure didn't even last 3 days, and I never wanted it in the first place. Perhaps their services are good for other things, but based on my experience, I would advise against going here.
Thank you for everything! I highly recommend!
