I never indulge in nail treatments due to the cost, but this time was different. The service was swift, the staff was exceptionally kind, and the results were stunning. A delightful girls' day out with my daughter indeed.
Appalling experience, wish I had captured evidence. I requested a manicure with Dip. Regrettably, I didn't inspect my nails until I reached home (my oversight). They were excessively thick, bulky, with a crack on my pinky. Despite asking for an almond shape, it bore no resemblance. Two days later, I called to express my dissatisfaction. I typically avoid complaints but my nails were in a dreadful state 😞 I paid $50 with a tip. To my dismay, the two friends accompanying me were also dissatisfied. In short, we returned to have them removed and settled for just a color change. We anticipated a refund or at least a 50% discount, but to our surprise, we were charged the full amount without prior notice. Moreover, they neglected our cuticles as we didn't explicitly request a "manicure" (ironically, that's what we had called for initially). I had contacted them beforehand to convey my frustration, and my friend even mentioned that we had spoken with the owner, but he chose to ignore us during the conversation, pretending not to be involved. He even insisted on using his ATM for cash payment. Additionally, when we pointed out the sweltering temperature inside, despite it being 83 degrees outside, the nail technician claimed the owner didn't want to waste electricity by turning on the AC. I have no intention of returning. Despite my aversion to complaining, I am deeply disappointed with the service and yet had to pay the full price for a rushed job aimed at accommodating more clients. It's not my fault when I had made appointments well in advance...
The pedicure area was sanitized and they took their time with the service. The staff was friendly and punctual. They used gel polish on my natural nails, without any tips or dipping. They do offer those services and perform excellently. It was a lovely Mother's Day gift from my children. ☺️❤️
