I made a reservation in advance for a manicure based on the prices I saw on their menu photos here, stating $17 per person with a massage included. However, I was charged $35 per person without receiving the promised massage during the manicure. When I tried to upgrade from a dip to acrylics at 2:45, I was told they didn't have time, even though they close at 5. Despite having multiple staff members present, most of them seemed unoccupied and displayed unfriendly attitudes towards me and my boyfriend's daughter. The service was extremely disappointing, and I would rather drive all the way to Rocklin where I used to go. I want to ensure that both myself and my daughter never encounter such subpar work again. Additionally, our nails did not turn out well; there were remnants of product left on our fingers, and her fingers ended up bleeding.
This review is long overdue by about 5 years - but I just wanted to express my love for this nail salon. I have been a loyal customer for many years now. I always make sure to call or text ahead for an appointment, but there have been times when I walked in without one, and they always try their best to accommodate me. Even when they are busy, they offer me an appointment as soon as possible. I have stopped trying other places because I know I won't be satisfied anywhere else. Sophie has a knack for understanding what I want, even when I struggle to explain it properly. She also listens and delivers exactly what my daughter and boyfriend want. If you ever find it hard to communicate your preferences to your nail technician, I highly recommend asking for Sophie's assistance. Their pedicures are excellent, with thorough cuticle care, massages, exfoliation, and flawless paint application. Whether it's dip, gel, or acrylic, they always deliver exceptional results. The pricing is fair considering the quality of service. I urge you to give them a try - you won't be disappointed!
I visited for an acrylic fill, which was clearly advertised as $20, but I was charged $60 without any explanation. The amount was higher than what I would pay for a new set of acrylic nails. They should update the prices displayed on their walls as they significantly overcharged me.
