The individual who braided my hair finished in 3 hours. While I was initially fine with the speed, the quality was subpar. She refused to wash my hair and made the middle section too thick. I will not be returning to this stylist or establishment. I am an extremely dissatisfied customer.
On February 14, 2019, I visited a salon as a customer. I asked for small to medium box braids styled in a bob. The stylist informed me that my natural hair was too short for the requested style but suggested small box braids for 180.00. Prior to the appointment, I confirmed the price multiple times with the stylist, who assured me it would be 180.00 dollars. However, upon completion, she charged me 200.00 dollars. While the braids look nice, I am dissatisfied as it was not the style I wanted and the price was higher than agreed. Two of my colleagues recommended her, paying between 160.00 and 180.00 dollars, with one having to provide her own hair due to color unavailability. Their braids were longer than mine, which are only shoulder length. After just two weeks, my braids are already coming loose, requiring a reinstallation. I feel cheated and unsatisfied with the service. The stylist should have been honest and stuck to the agreed-upon price of 180.00 dollars. I will not return to this stylist. *Tip:* Hair length should not affect the ability to style as requested. If long box braids are doable, short ones should be too. I do not recommend this braiding salon to anyone.
