I typically don't leave feedback, but this time I must. Whitney styled my hair precisely as I desired. I aimed for a seamless blend of my natural hair with a balayage transitioning into my previous blonde, which had a noticeable line. Showing her an inspiration photo, she flawlessly matched it! Despite my nerves, having only had my mom do my hair before, she made me feel at ease and welcome. I experienced no stress at all, and coming from the heartland... the prices are unbeatable!
McCall Brown styled my hair for the first time ever. Being new to this area, I was anxious about finding a new hairstylist. From the moment I entered, McCall was incredibly welcoming. We discussed my preferences, and I mentioned that I'm sensitive-headed; she was exceptionally gentle! She even gave me bangs! I rate her 10/10 for her professionalism, quality of work, and care. I will definitely remain a loyal client of hers. Looking forward to my next appointment!
I regret to say that I cannot recommend this place due to the cost and the outcome of my visit. (I prefer not to name names for privacy reasons) I visited this salon for the first time to prepare for an upcoming concert, seeking a haircut and color, alongside my friend who also wanted a color treatment. I requested peekaboo highlights in gray, while my friend opted for half of their hair dyed green. The website did not specify that the stylist charges hourly, nor did she inform us during the service. Consequently, I ended up paying $490 for both services. This came as a shock to me since the website listed $160 for a cut and full color, and $120 for full color. I anticipated a maximum cost of $400, and we did not exceed the estimated time on the site. Had I known it was billed hourly rather than per service, I would have chosen a different salon. The disappointment doesn't end there; my hair is not the desired gray shade (appearing more bleached) and the trim is uneven at the back. Additionally, the placement of my friend's colored hair was off, not centered as requested. If you're charging "professional" rates, then deliver a professional service. I could have received a better outcome for $30 at a different salon.
