The nail technician I had was pleasant, and I am satisfied with my nails. However, she accidentally cut my skin while working on my cuticles. Instead of properly disinfecting the tools, she used a washcloth and some green liquid to address the bleeding. I requested a tissue to stop the bleeding, but she did not follow proper hygiene practices. I should have reported the incident or spoken to a manager, but I refrained from causing a scene, especially on my birthday. If you choose to visit this salon, be aware that they do not adequately clean their tools. I am concerned about the risk of infection, given the lack of proper sanitation. Despite spending over $50, my overall experience was marred by this incident.
This nail salon used to provide excellent service, but it has now become a complete disappointment. Save your time and money. During my last visit, the gel polish peeled off within a week. Reluctantly, I decided to give them a second chance, only to find myself facing the same issue.
I have frequented this salon for years and have never encountered such disrespectful treatment. Alex, a nail technician at this salon, displayed extreme prejudice and rudeness. Despite the receptionist confirming that such behavior had never occurred in her four years there, Alex insisted on payment before completing the service. Not only did she neglect the appearance of my nails, but she also left the manicure unfinished after being paid. Furthermore, the owner sided with Alex and disregarded my concerns as a paying customer. This salon lacks professionalism, and as a woman of African descent, I strongly advise against visiting. However, the receptionist was exceptionally courteous, and I appreciate her attentiveness to my experience. If I could give a negative rating, I would, but unfortunately, that option doesn't exist.
