I have frequented Spruce Salon for several years, and each visit has been consistently EXCEPTIONAL!!! The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming, treating me as a cherished individual. Paula, the remarkable and skilled proprietor, has always been amiable, accommodating, and kind to me. I constantly receive numerous compliments on my hair color and style. Additionally, the salon exudes beauty and comfort. What more could one desire? I WHOLEHEARTEDLY ENDORSE SPRUCE SALON!!!

Spruce Salon truly establishes a high standard in terms of excellent service and expertise! Not only is Paula adept at managing curly hair, but all the stylists at Spruce excel. They have worked wonders for my adolescent daughters, comprehending their distinct hair requirements and crafting styles that boost their confidence and beauty. The ambiance is incredibly inviting; it feels like being with extended family. With Spruce Salon, it's not just a haircut – it's an experience that leaves you feeling indulged and looking like you just strutted off the catwalk. Highly recommended!

I strongly suggest individuals steer clear of Spruce Salon if they prioritize transparent communication and kindness from their hairdresser. I visited Paula for a brief haircut and am dismayed by the outcome. Equally disheartening was Paula's handling of the situation when I expressed my dissatisfaction. The final look of my haircut is vastly different from what I had requested. I displayed a photo to Paula depicting the desired shape and asked for a slightly longer cut than shown. Regrettably, she sheared my hair drastically shorter! To exacerbate matters, the back is uneven and resembles a haphazard trim with gardening shears. When I voiced my dismay, Paula retorted that I would never be content and declined to take any accountability for the subpar cut. She asserted she had faithfully replicated the photo, but this is simply untrue, as evidenced by the photos I possess. I even proposed sending her the reference image again to highlight the stark disparity from my final style, yet she refused to glance at it. Most notably, she mishandled my hair and failed to tailor the cut to suit its texture. The outcome is a disastrous tangle. Paula also appeared very preoccupied and left me unattended to tend to other clients multiple times during my visit, so the disastrous haircut comes as no surprise. However, my concerns were met with no receptiveness. Regrettably, I discovered that Paula is not open to receiving candid feedback from her clients and was unwilling to acknowledge the issue. This is not a stylist who prioritizes assisting her clients, especially after causing them distress. I firmly believe that patrons should be treated with more compassion. Paula evidently lacks interest in retaining clients and instead treats them disrespectfully when confronted with feedback. Had Paula handled the situation differently, this would have merely been a disappointing haircut, which is vexing enough. However, she has forfeited a client and garnered an honest evaluation.
