Today was my first visit to Kim's Nails. The service was satisfactory, and the technician did a decent job. However, I had requested a regular manicure and pedicure without any extras, but I was charged for a gel manicure and pedicure. I was also told that there was an additional $20 charge to remove polish from just two toenails. I would have rated them higher if they hadn't overcharged me for services I didn't ask for. It's essential to clarify the services and prices beforehand. Knowing their tendency to inflate prices, I wouldn't have been as generous with the tip. I may return, but I'll be more cautious next time.
My mom and I have been loyal customers at Kim's Nails for almost a year now. The staff there always does an impeccable job on our acrylic nails. The ladies working there are not only skilled but also incredibly kind and attentive. It's truly evident that they take pride in their work. Sadly, I will be moving away, and the green and gold nail set they did for me will be my last. From my prom nails to my engagement nails and then my wedding nails, every time the result has been exceptional.
I visited Kim's Nails with a specific design in mind, providing clear instructions to ensure they understood my request. However, not only was I overcharged, but they also used matte polish instead of the gel I had asked for. They added stones without my consent and didn't allow the design to dry properly. After waiting for three hours, I was extremely disappointed with the unprofessionalism displayed. I will not be returning to Kim's Nails, and I would not recommend their services to anyone.
