I’ve been to Taylor consistently for about 8 years now. She’s often able to accommodate on short notice, which is great, and has a comfortable studio. Taylor can alter your massage, depending on the level of pressure you’d like. I am awarding this establishment 3 stars due to the pleasant staff. However, I was extremely dissatisfied with the nail application. As a first-time customer, I received a subpar liquid gel treatment on very short nails (refer to images). Not only was the job poorly executed, but I was charged $68 for this service? I felt slighted as the technician (Amy) barely utilized any product, especially given the length of my nails close to the natural bed.
Having studied cosmetology previously, I can confidently state that the nail tech did not follow the correct procedure for applying the liquid gel. A base coat was not even applied, resulting in the gel peeling off the nails (as evident in the images provided). The gel color is visibly flaking off.
In brief, despite returning for a correction after the gel peeled off, the color continues to chip.
I cannot continue to return multiple times for fixes. I have made the decision to never patronize this nail salon again.
This experience has left me disheartened, feeling overcharged for a service that was poorly executed.
I sincerely hope this feedback will prevent future clients from receiving substandard service.About
