Miriam, the proprietor of this salon, has been my hairdresser and confidante for around 16 years. She is an incredibly professional entrepreneur who truly values her clients. She dedicates time and attention to her craft and prioritizes her clients' desires over her own. A skilled stylist, she takes great pride in her work and strives to serve her clientele impeccably. I enthusiastically recommend her, especially in her newly renovated salon. I am awarding this establishment 3 stars due to the pleasant staff. However, I was extremely dissatisfied with the nail application. As a first-time customer, I received a subpar liquid gel treatment on very short nails (refer to images). Not only was the job poorly executed, but I was charged $68 for this service? I felt slighted as the technician (Amy) barely utilized any product, especially given the length of my nails close to the natural bed.
Having studied cosmetology previously, I can confidently state that the nail tech did not follow the correct procedure for applying the liquid gel. A base coat was not even applied, resulting in the gel peeling off the nails (as evident in the images provided). The gel color is visibly flaking off.
In brief, despite returning for a correction after the gel peeled off, the color continues to chip.
I cannot continue to return multiple times for fixes. I have made the decision to never patronize this nail salon again.
This experience has left me disheartened, feeling overcharged for a service that was poorly executed.
I sincerely hope this feedback will prevent future clients from receiving substandard service.About

Absolutely FANTASTIC! My colleague suggested trying out this salon for my hair. I was a bit hesitant at first, as I have thick 4C hair and have never had any chemical treatments. I was unsure if the stylist would know how to handle my hair properly. However, she managed to wash, detangle, and apply botox to my hair efficiently. She was extremely gentle and ensured that my hair was well taken care of. I’ve been to Taylor consistently for about 8 years now. She’s often able to accommodate on short notice, which is great, and has a comfortable studio. Taylor can alter your massage, depending on the level of pressure you’d like.
