My hair colorist is great, but the proprietor, "X" was incredibly impolite today. Since the colorist's duty is solely coloring, I brought my own hair dryer after inquiring with various individuals months ago if I could blow dry my hair in the rear room. No one informed me otherwise. My hair is naturally curly and dries in less than ten minutes. I have been doing this ever since I started frequenting this spa around 6 months ago. Today, the proprietor approached me while I was drying my hair and instructed me to stop immediately. From today onwards, he has a policy that he must blow dry your hair for an extra fee or leave with it damp! I wanted to finish drying my hair today as it was chilly outside and I preferred not to go out with wet hair. Ella is simply fantastic! She was incredibly patient and meticulous, taking her time to ensure everything was done with great care. With my highly sensitive skin, she allowed me to take breaks whenever necessary. I contacted this establishment for a haircut. I clearly stated that my hair was short. Upon arrival, I was swiftly placed in the chair and hurried out just 4 minutes later. The stylist only used one clipper on the sides and back of my head, neglecting to blend or fade my hair as requested. I did not receive a lineup or any additional attention. I am deeply disappointed as I am a generous tipper and have insecurities about my hair's appearance, hoping to leave feeling confident; instead, I left feeling worse.
