I have visited the same salon twice now. The cost for foils, cut, shampoo, and blow dry was $150, excluding the tip. This seemed quite pricey, especially considering my short and not very thick hair. I prefer not to disclose her name as she is pleasant and I enjoyed our conversations. However, on both occasions, my hair turned out brassy even after a toner was applied. Despite using purple shampoo and conditioner, the issue persists. I made it clear to her multiple times about a grey area at the front that needed coloring, but it was missed both times. Additionally, I shave the underside of my hair at the back, which turned out uneven and choppy. My husband had to fix it for me. Although I had my nails done once, the gel polish chipped the next day on several fingers. She does well with male haircuts, which is why I had high hopes for the back of my hair. Perhaps she is new to the profession and still learning. I will give the salon another chance due to its cleanliness and friendly staff, but I will request a different stylist.
