Today, my roommate and I came in to have my acrylic nails removed. The nail technician attempted to use other artificial nails to take mine off, but my set didn't allow for that technique. Instead, she resorted to forcefully breaking my nails, causing me intense pain. When I expressed my discomfort, she became defensive and raised her voice at me. I had requested the use of a dremel to prevent nail damage, but she disregarded my concerns, claiming that no harm was done because I wasn't bleeding. She even blamed me for having "too thin" nails. I was left trembling, holding back tears from the excruciating pain. The sides of my nails are now cracked and severely damaged. I will never return to this salon. If I could, I would give them zero stars. The comparison between my roommate's nails and mine speaks volumes. I arrived for my appointment as scheduled and was informed by the receptionist that she would inform the stylist of my presence. Despite waiting for an hour, no one approached me, and when my allotted time was up, I departed without receiving a haircut.
