I frequented this spot for a year. Recently, I got a volume fill costing $90 plus a $20 tip for the service. Unfortunately, the lash artist mistakenly glued several extensions to my eyelid, resulting in significant swelling and irritation. They promptly removed the lashes for free on the same day after seeing the photos I sent. The receptionist explained that the close placement was for better retention, but that's not ideal for lashing. After the swelling subsided, I sought to have them redone by a different artist. Initially, I was told I had to pay $210 for a new full set, which I found unreasonable given the initial error. I contacted the manager on a Friday night and received a response around Wednesday, citing illness as the delay. While I understand, as a business, timely customer responses are crucial. Despite being a loyal customer, I was disappointed by the overall experience.
My third visit to LivBay Lash was for a touch-up, following two amazing experiences. However, within 24 hours, the lash extensions began falling off. Despite getting a refill, the lashes didn't last even four days, which was disappointing considering the $120 cost. I even sent photos to show the issue but received no response from the establishment. I won't be returning to this place due to the lack of durability and customer service.
I've visited four different lash artists here, and while they did good work, the glue used doesn't hold up. Every time, the lashes start coming off the same day, requiring more frequent fills than I've ever experienced in my four years of getting lashes done. It seems the glue fails to keep the lashes on for even a week, making the service overpriced and not worth the money. Despite a free touch-up, most lashes on one eye fell off within three days, leaving that eye less full. I won't be returning to this place, as others have also shared similar experiences of poor retention and value.
