Had a powder dip manicure with tips performed on Friday. 3 nails broke on Saturday. Visited the salon 2 times over the weekend for repairs. On Monday, 3 more nails broke. Returned to have everything removed. No refund was provided. In my view, that's poor business practice. I won't be returning due to the subpar quality and lack of customer service.
Initially, this individual inquired, "When was the last time you cleaned your nails?" Though seemingly ordinary, she then proceeded to laugh at me. A tear welled in my eye. Subsequently, a headache ensued due to a baby's incessant SCREAMING!! Furthermore, despite booking a 2-hour appointment, the service lasted only 45 minutes. I vow, NEVER AGAIN!!!
If I weren't departing for a trip in the morning, I would have walked out. The use of tepid water during my $60 pedicure was a disappointing start. Despite numerous requests to "cut shorter", as I'll be trekking through Europe for 2 weeks and long toenails pose issues for me, my instructions were repeatedly ignored. I was continuously appeased without any actual action taken. After explaining my needs thrice, I eventually took matters into my own hands. It's unprecedented for a pedicure not to utilize the under nail tool for cleaning. And the presence of a wailing baby in the salon is a whole other issue. Never again.
