The instructors and the upscale ambiance left a lasting impression on me; it felt like we were provided with top-notch kits and materials. In hindsight, I wish I had taken my time there more seriously. Upon attempting to return, I was denied due to my attendance record. My favorite aspect was the creative freedom, particularly with color. However, generating sufficient income to cover my expenses while on the floor, juggling two children at the time, proved to be challenging. I was in a state of conflict and financial strain during my time there. Hence, I advise individuals to carefully consider these factors before committing, as there is only one chance with them, and they enforce strict policies.

While acknowledging that this is a beauty COLLEGE where students are honing their skills, I would caution against visiting if you have natural hair. On both occasions I visited, my curls were stretched out before cutting, a grave error considering the uniqueness of each curl. This resulted in not only the disruption of my curl pattern but also a blow to my self-confidence. I am deeply disheartened because despite inquiring about experience with natural hair, the outcome did not align with the assurances given. As a college student with limited financial resources, this was my only affordable option. Months of effort to grow out a mullet were undone due to an inexperienced stylist who failed to grasp my hair texture and needs.

Yesterday, I indulged in a luxurious pedicure and gel manicure at this establishment. It operates on a walk-in basis, so be prepared for a potential wait. The student who tended to me exuded professionalism and friendliness, although I regrettably did not catch her name. It might be beneficial for them to wear nametags for future reference. Additionally, anticipate a longer service duration compared to a traditional salon, as these individuals are still in the learning phase. Improving the front desk procedure would be advantageous; I found myself waiting to sign in behind two individuals who were leisurely paying, obstructing my view of the queue ahead.
