Today, I went to this establishment for eyebrow services (wax and tint). The young individual at the reception guided me to the adjacent shop, claiming that eyebrows are handled there and both establishments are under the same ownership. However, the atmosphere next door was entirely different, leading me to question the accuracy of the information provided. Despite a sign advertising lashes and eyebrows in the window, the services were actually offered next door 🤔😒. Unfortunately, I couldn't receive the service at the neighboring place as they operate by appointments. Nevertheless, I ended up going to Signature Brows across the street and was very satisfied with the service.
I had a wonderful experience at this salon recommended to me while I was traveling. I opted for the royal pedicure and a full set by Emily, who was gentle, talented, and kind. I will definitely be returning and will be suggesting this place to others!
I am awarding 2 stars due to the mediocre service I received. I rarely leave negative feedback or complain, but considering the amount I paid, I feel compelled to do so. I had my nails done for a special event - my birthday, a school function, and Halloween. I received an acrylic full set and a pedicure. Initially, I tipped (for reasons unknown), only to realize my mistake as I sat in my car examining my nails for 15 minutes, with friends and family urging me to return. My nails were uneven, showing the transition from the fill to my natural nail, not properly cleaned up, the acrylic didn't cover my entire nail, not meeting my expectations, and overall unsatisfactory. Dust residue was left, giving the appearance of lice on the black part of my nails. Additionally, there were odd bubbles forming. While attempting to clean the black French tip, it bled onto the nude part and wasn't rectified before the top coat, resulting in a strange brown hue. Despite my attempt to remove it, the blemish persisted. When I addressed the issue with the manager upon my return, she offered to fix them on the spot, but I had to leave for my event preparation. She suggested returning on the weekend (which I couldn't due to birthday plans) or the following week upon my return home, which I deemed not worthwhile at that point. I received a 25% discount, which I appreciate, but it would have been preferable to have the tip refunded along with the discount. Even with the partial refund, the total cost was around $98 after tipping, with the initial price being $110. I refrained from sharing images of my feet, but trust me, they were not well-done either. To top it off, I broke out in hives. After four days, my nails were in a dreadful state, which is unusual for me as my nails don't grow rapidly. I contacted the salon upon my return and was informed that since I received a refund, I would need to pay again for any further fixes. Despite others suggesting that my nails look decent from a distance, I paid a substantial amount for a service that I should be proud to showcase up close. I felt like a burden when expressing my dissatisfaction, even though I made it clear that I didn't want to complain. This review pains me to write, as I rarely voice complaints, but I felt it necessary to provide an accurate depiction of my experience.
