Q Nails

So I took my brother today who wanted a simple manicure and pedicure. We called beforehand to check on the wait, they said no wait come now. So we did. We sit on their dusty couches for maybe 5 minutes and she finally goes to cut the water on in the chair for him and calls him over. Not a bad wait at all. However the water was ice cold!! She said oh sorry. She goes back to doing the girls nails there and never cuts on the chair to at least be relaxing or anything. And it’s so faded you can’t tell what the buttons are for. When she finally gets to him 20 min later, she says he has an ingrown and proceeds to be extremely rough on every single toe. She keeps telling him that she has a big party coming in at 1 and can’t do manicure. My brother looks at the clock and sees it’s 1:18. She catches him and goes oh I meant at 2. Ok a manicure does not take 32 minutes. But she just refused to do it. And he wanted clear polish on his toes just to make them look nice. No she can’t do that either. I get males don’t do that often but they should be allowed to pamper theirselves too!! Her attitude sucked and she was not friendly. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Ever.

Went to get my nails redone and first off the husband got upset cause I didn’t want gel on my nails I wanted dip so he wouldn’t do my nails he had his wife do them and when she started she didn’t remove the dip I already had on them properly she basically was ripping it off with clippers and said it was easier then using the grinder tool they have and soaking them properly and I said I didn’t want no length off she still clipped them without shaping or filling them and proceeded to put the dip on them so now under the dip on my nails are jagged and different lengths and broke cause remind you these are my real nails not acrylic nails and the nail job is so poor quality and my nails are very sore to the touch from her just ripping the dip off improperly instead of the right way.. now I’m not one to do these reviews I never have but today it really did me in especially when she looked at me and said i made him upset over the gel so I suggest if you want your nails done right go somewhere else to where it’s worth spending your money

The location and exterior appearance is rough and looks closed. They have a sign in the window that says open but it looked very dark and gloomy. Once entering, it looked tidy but very old and dark. The wait was not long and the two techs tag teamed their clients. One starts it and the other one finishes it. I asked for dip but they suggested acrylic with gel as you don't have to do a whole new set each time when you change the color which makes sense. I got tips and was done within an hour. It was a reasonable price as well. My nails hurt for 2 days afterwards as the drilling was pretty aggressive when removing my previous gel polish. But overall, the shape and finish were great! I plan to return next time I am in town and need my nails done.
