Samantha performed a remarkable job with my daughter's braids. My daughter is sensitive-headed and she took extra care to ensure a smooth process for her. The pricing was fair for the quality of work done, and my daughter is thrilled with how beautiful her braids turned out. Finally, a salon we can trust and feel comfortable spending money at. I rated 2 stars because Samantha has previously done a great job on my hair. Unfortunately, the recent experiences have been disappointing. I had an appointment in the morning, and she was over an hour late. She did apologize, so I proceeded with the appointment understanding that things happen. On another occasion, Samantha paused halfway through braiding my hair to eat. She then spent time on the phone arguing with her boyfriend while still braiding, causing interruptions. Due to her emotional state, the consistency of my braids suffered, with some being large and others small, lacking neatness. She even asked her coworker to assist in finishing my hair, resulting in a noticeable difference in braiding styles, making the top section look messy. I only noticed this after leaving the salon and inspecting my hair at home. I paid for the service, but when I messaged her later, she didn't seem to show much concern. That was my final visit. She is skilled at braiding, but when distracted by personal matters and phone calls, the quality of the work suffers.
