I visited the salon to have my acrylic nails removed and replaced with gel. Unfortunately, my manicurist seemed inexperienced as she left chunks of acrylic under the gel polish. It caught onto my clothing, causing a snag. She even had to be reminded to remove excess gel, resulting in a lengthy appointment. The cuticles were also neglected before painting. I understand mistakes happen with new stylists, but the service should reflect the skill level. I paid over $50 for untidy nails.
My pedicure experience was pleasant, but the nail service was disappointing. After three days, I had to return for a redo. However, after a week, the clear coat chipped, nails grew out, and some popped off.
The nail service did not meet expectations. The technician appeared rushed and indifferent, wearing headphones while working. She accidentally drilled into my nail bed multiple times, causing bleeding. An old nail buffer was used on the open wounds, leading to deep cuts. I left the salon bleeding and unsatisfied.
