Maya is truly exceptional! She exhibits meticulous attention to detail and takes her time with every aspect of the service. Her demeanor is calming and sweet, creating a very relaxing experience. I wholeheartedly recommend her.
Although the wax specialists are highly skilled, it feels as if the individuals at the reception desk assume we lack intelligence. The person informed me that the wax cost $61, even providing me with a brochure confirming the price. However, upon completion of the service, they attempted to charge me $69. When I pointed out that I was quoted $61, and it was clearly stated in the brochure, they persistently insisted on the higher amount. It was almost as if they were oblivious to the concept that the price communicated to customers beforehand should be honored. Quite embarrassing for them, honestly. I have no intention of returning. P.S. I stood my ground and paid the correct amount of $61, much to the annoyance of the individual. The situation was truly unbelievable. This incident occurred today (12/09/23) between 4:30 and 5 pm.
I have been a patron of this establishment for some time now and I prefer it over the European wax center!! Every visit to EWC would result in ingrown hairs, leading me to realize that their waxing method was too harsh. I have never encountered this issue here.
