The establishment was truly lovely, HOWEVER. Nevertheless, the individual who attended to my brows yesterday was unprofessional. She insisted on a 20% tip which is not obligatory at all. Despite tipping, she seemed displeased with the amount I gave and mentioned that customers usually offer a 20% tip. Lost a patron who would frequent for threading weekly because the individual was too avaricious and insistent on additional "tips". I truly admired this place and its location but could not tolerate the individual. Might consider trying the alternate location.
This was my premier time getting my brows threaded - all in all, it was a pleasant experience. I visited on a Sunday (would suggest making an appointment, even if it’s not crowded, as they prioritize appointment holders) and was in and out in just 10 minutes. They were swift and efficient and did a commendable job. Upon closer inspection at home, I noticed a few missed hairs, but I tidied those up myself. I would definitely return.
I’m foolish for placing trust in all the glowing reviews here. I went to have my eyebrows shaped and requested the person working on them to refine their appearance and restore their arched shape. She performed a rather gentle cleanup, and when I examined them, I asked her to remove just a single line from the top. However, she proceeded to remove a substantial amount from the bottom, leaving me with mere slivers compared to my naturally full eyebrows. Naturally, I am frustrated but allowed her to work on the other one as well. She did so but left it significantly thicker than the first. Upon requesting her to balance them out, she insisted they were already even but still removed some hair (from the wrong area). I am now sporting eyebrows reminiscent of the year 2001, and to compound matters, the shapes are dissimilar, and they are not aligned on my face. I am uncertain if it was the individual who attended to me that was inadequate or something else, but I deeply regret visiting this salon.
