Indulged in a 90-minute massage, comprising 60 minutes on the body and 30 minutes on the feet for $80, excluding gratuity! A satisfying massage; will return in the future. Simply walked in and requested the service.
Simply sought a massage. Requested the 75-minute combo. Initially agreed. However, once undressed on the table facing down, they insisted on the 90-minute combo. Puzzling situation, but being already on the table, I relented. The massage was initially intense - the kind that induces sweat and prompts contemplation on its benefits. Then came the excessive oil. Unpleasant. Subsequently, the masseur (otherwise cordial) inappropriately approached intimate areas and subtly hinted at an additional service. Declined and disconcerting as it was not the purpose of my visit. Lastly, upon departure, they insisted on a 25% tip. Refused, and a larger individual appeared, claiming it was mandatory. Held my ground, eventually giving a larger tip to depart swiftly, observing him pocket all the money. Departed questioning my inadvertent support of undesired practices. Overall, a disquieting encounter and the nadir of my NYC trip.
