I purchased a voucher for $38 for a 60-minute deep tissue massage with hot stones. The regular price for the massage on the website is $48. Upon arrival, they insisted on a $5 tax payment. Nowhere on the voucher does it mention this. They claim it's in the fine print??? When using a voucher, I have already paid for the service I am purchasing. I have used vouchers in the past for massages and have never been asked for a “tax”. This establishment seems to be trying to extract more money from clients. Furthermore, the therapist attempted to pressure me into leaving a tip before the treatment. When have you ever left a tip before receiving a service, especially a massage?! In the massage room, the table was very rigid, and the only covering available was a towel with stains. Lastly, the therapist never inquired about which areas I wanted to focus on. I ended up lying on my back for the entire 60 minutes. The massage itself was decent, but the customer service was lacking. Something seems off about this business.
Had an incredibly relaxing full body massage at this place! The price was quite fair and the service was top-notch. We entered and were attended to promptly. The massage therapists didn't speak the local language, but the receptionist did and assisted us. I will definitely return here.
I have visited various Refresh Body Spa branches. This one is my preferred choice! Isabella was exceptional and the rest of the team was very friendly. Great promotions daily.
