I treated my brother to the 80-minute couples massage with champagne and a facial, and it was truly a fantastic experience. Asher at the front desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the entire experience was delightful overall. I had Landon as my therapist, and I was truly impressed by his expertise. I engage in a lot of physical labor and standing at work, and he skillfully relieved all the tension in my back and neck. I will definitely be returning!
I decided to surprise my partner with the luxury couple’s spa day package for their birthday. Unfortunately, the experience was anything but luxurious or relaxing. The receptionist, who identified themselves as Alex, was dishonest and claimed to be named Avery when I expressed my dissatisfaction. Alex displayed extreme unprofessionalism, lack of hygiene, and rudeness. Not only did they fabricate information, but they also insisted on a mandatory $30 gratuity charge for both therapists. I have visited many spas with or without vouchers and have never encountered a compulsory $30 gratuity charge. They insisted it was their policy, which was not mentioned anywhere on the voucher. The package was supposed to include champagne and cookies, but Alex took it upon themselves to touch two cookies from the plate with bare hands, without gloves or hand sanitizer, for me to consume. When I raised concerns about the gratuity and overall experience, Alex became agitated. They claimed I was the only dissatisfied customer and that every client pays a $30 gratuity. Their behavior was unprofessional, and the massage we received was subpar. I have never had a massage where only cold lotion was used. It was challenging to relax with the cold lotion and the radio playing in the background. Specifically, Adele’s “Hello” was playing, and I had had enough by that point. The hot stones used during the massage were too hot and startled me when they were placed on my back. I believe the therapist should inform the client before using the stones, but that did not happen, and no apologies were offered. The "basic facial" included in the package was not a proper facial at all. The therapist simply cleaned the face with a towel and applied another lotion, nothing more. I will not be returning to this spa and do not recommend it, as the reception staff is impolite, unhygienic, and unprofessional. It is also misleading to advertise a facial when it is merely a 15-minute face massage.
The couples massage and facial experience we had was absolutely incredible! From beginning to end, it was a wonderful journey of relaxation and renewal. The massage therapists were extremely skilled, easing away our stress and tension with their expert touch. The facial left our skin glowing and revitalized. What truly made it exceptional was the genuine care and attention from the spa team. It was a perfect bonding experience for us, and we left feeling completely spoiled and more connected than ever. I highly recommend this amazing couples retreat!
