I had a fantastic, swift, and cost-effective experience at "The Spot" on a Tuesday afternoon. Alex was able to assist me promptly. They aided in the positioning for the flat part and carefully placed the third piercing on my ear lobes (both sides) due to one ear being larger. In the end, the placements were spot on! The whole process took about 10-15 minutes and the total cost (including the jewelry) was $103 for three piercings. Alex had a great sense of humor and was very helpful, enhancing the overall experience. I frequently stroll past this establishment and decided to visit for the first time tonight to have my gel x removed. I neglected to peruse the feedback, and now I regret it. Initially, (like others) they attempted to lift the gel x ends with a transit pass and then resorted to using a drill, excessively shaving them down to the point of discomfort. I couldn't retrieve my credit card from my wallet without causing pain to myself and ended up in tears on my way home. I visited this salon for the first time to have my roots bleached, touched up, colored, and trimmed. The service was exceptional! Elaine was incredibly kind and did a fantastic job with my trim. I also want to mention the lovely lady who did a beautiful job with my hair bleaching, although I can't recall her name. Despite a slight language barrier, she even brought me a snack as I was there for a while during the processing. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of work. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and will definitely return soon! This salon is by far the worst I have ever visited. Despite not usually leaving reviews, I felt compelled to share my experience. As someone who regularly gets dip manicures with tips, I can confidently say this place does not meet the standard. While needing 2 tips for my broken nails, the technician attempted to remove my dip using a nail file instead of a drill, which was readily available. She even used a METROCARD for removal, which is highly unsanitary. My nails are weak due to frequent manicures, and I had to ask her to be careful, but the process was still rough. Another technician applied a tip on one finger but used gauze and eyebrow scissors on the next, resulting in a nail resembling Donald Duck's beak. The service took 2 hours, and finding the salon was a challenge as it was hidden on the third floor behind a discreet doorway. I fear this $70 manicure won't last a week, especially after one nail fell off in just 4 days. I strongly advise against visiting this place.About
