I purchased a voucher for $38 for a 60-minute deep tissue massage with hot stones. The regular price for the massage on the website is $48. Upon arrival, they insisted on a $5 tax payment. Nowhere on the voucher does it mention this. They claim it's in the fine print??? When using a voucher, I have already paid for the service I am purchasing. I have used vouchers in the past for massages and have never been asked for a “tax”. This establishment seems to be trying to extract more money from clients. Furthermore, the therapist attempted to pressure me into leaving a tip before the treatment. When have you ever left a tip before receiving a service, especially a massage?! In the massage room, the table was very rigid, and the only covering available was a towel with stains. Lastly, the therapist never inquired about which areas I wanted to focus on. I ended up lying on my back for the entire 60 minutes. The massage itself was decent, but the customer service was lacking. It was fantastic. She spoke to me, broke everything down as how everything was going to go down. The process was simple and we spoke the entire time. My fiancée was present with me, and she can agree. She had a great time at the salon. She said she felt like she was in a spa. I’d like to thank Yoshi for this experience, and I will be returning for my touchups within 4-6 months and I’m looking forward to my Hair journey with her.
